Fleet Park Pavilion, Downtown Montesano

Fleet Park Pavilion, dedicated in August, 2000, was built by volunteers from Montesano Moose Lodge #1210 with donations from The Bishop Foundation, City of Montesano, Dennis Company, Friends of Fleet Park, Montesano Lions Club, The Vaughan Company, and Whitney's. The downtown park is a popular gathering place during community events and a peaceful stopping place on city walks.

Fleet Park Was Dedicated August 24, 1946,

not 1948 as the plaque in the park reads.  The park was re-dedicated on August 24, 1996, 50 years after the original dedication.)
