Minimum Requirements
  • 21 years of age.
  • No felony convictions or misdemeanor violence or dishonesty.
  • Good driving record.
  • United States citizen.
  • Washington State driver's license.

 Benefits
  • Full medical, dental and vision for employee and the city pays 95% of dependent coverage.
  • State Law Enforcement and Firefighters Retirement System.
  • Lead Officer Position with 5% salary increase for 2 years of college, first level supervision course, and department longevity.
  • Shift differential for working swing and graveyard hours.
  • City-paid uniform/equipment allowance each year; city-paid dry cleaning.
