The fee for a building permit varies, depending upon the project.

Obtain a Building Permit Application Form
There are three ways to obtain the permit application:

1. Download the Building Permit Application form.
2. Call or email the Community Development department at the City of Montesano and request the application be mailed to you:

3. Stop by the Community Development department and pick up the application:
        City of Montesano
        112 N. Main Street, 2nd Floor
        Montesano, WA  98563

1. Fill out the Building Permit Application form.
2. Contact Mike Wincewicz for an appointment to review your plans and to find out what to bring with you to the appointment at. (See Contact information above.)
3. If you wish, you may fax your completed application to the City prior to your appointment: 360-249-3690, Attention: Mike Wincewicz. 

Payment
Pay for your building permit after the Community Development Department determines what the cost will be. Make Checks payable to the City of Montesano, or you may pay be credit or debit card in person or over the phone to the Clerk's Office: (360) 249-3021, extension 104.
